Aka Alden Muller
Fantastical Game Scores for Imaginary Dimensions & Dungeons
Combining influences from vaporwave, jazz fusion, and electronic music, Alden creates video game scores that evoke anemoia — a nostalgia for something that never happened. His background in jazz piano, electronic production, and high-concept songwriting results in highly atmospheric music that ranges from nostalgic and intimate to cosmic and otherworldly.

Field is part of Alden’s 30 + track OST for Nothing at Stake, an open-world action-adventure with a roguelike structure styled in the vein of classic N64 games, specifically taking inspiration from the first 3d Legend of Zelda games. This game features an oblique dark fantasy world packed full of dungeons, ruins of a recently dead civilization, and colorful characters doing their best to survive in a seemingly hopeless world.
Field, one of the first levels the player will explore, is an expansive piece of game music inspired in equal measure by the wide open spaces of Twilight Princess, ambient music, and classical minimalist composer Steve Reich. This track features a unique chord progression and is designed to loop endlessly while the player explores these lonely yet awe-inspiring vistas.
Nothing at Stake- Field
Wiz 98- Yheluun Combat
Wiz 98 is a turn-based strategy game influenced by Megami Tensei and Persona 5. The OST features jazz fusion and metal-inspired music that scores the player's conquest of Deamons, computer viruses that have infected an operating system for wizards. This track is also adaptive and shifts between 2 moods. When the player is planning their moves, the music is stylistic and slightly reserved, but when the player is actively attacking, the soundtrack shifts to chugging metal riffs.
Nothing At Stake- Lake
Lake is an adaptive track with two distinct moods. If the player remains in the outer lake, the track paints a somber yet contemplative atmosphere, invoking nature and water, paired with a general sense of ennui, uninfluenced by what lies at the lake's center. If the player breaks into the tightly locked lake basin, the track shifts into a dissonant twisted version of itself, reflecting the polluted and decrepit nature of this area.
Nothing at Stake- Rival
Rival is the combat theme of the primary antagonist of Nothing at Stake. He is the last wolf and views your player (who is a fox) as weak and pathetic. He is driven by an obsession with power and has started to revere the meteors that are threatening to destroy the planet your player inhabits. This piece represents this seemingly sinister lone wolf. However, there may be some humanity left under Rival's sinister first impression; this character can become a potential ally later in the game.
